At the heart of MAGLUMI® technology lies the exclusive ABEI (flash chemiluminescence) labeling technology and superparamagnetic microbeads separation technology. ABEI, a highly stable non-enzyme small-molecule label, ensures fast chemical reactions within 3 seconds, providing high sensitivity and long-term stability under both acidic and alkaline conditions. The magnetic microbeads separation enhances reaction efficiency, improves antigen–antibody binding, shortens reaction time, increases sensitivity, and minimizes inter- and intra-assay variation.

MAGLUMI® 800 delivers a throughput of up to 180 tests per hour, with a time to first result of just 17 minutes. The system operates 24 hours continuously and supports random, batch, and STAT modes, ensuring flexible workflow for routine and emergency testing. The analyzer supports up to 40 samples on board with continuous loading and independent refrigerated sample area.

The system features 9 onboard RFID-enabled refrigerated reagent positions, with ready-to-use reagents, built-in master curves, 2-point calibration, and calibration stability up to 4 weeks. RFID technology ensures automatic reagent identification, traceability, and error-free loading. Calibrators and quality controls are included, significantly reducing cost per test.

MAGLUMI® 800 integrates a high-speed titanium pipettor with TEFLON coating, clot detection, and liquid level detection to prevent carryover and ensure precise sample handling. The system includes automated cuvette loading, high-sensitivity low-noise PMT detection, anti-overflow protection, and constant incubation at 36.8°C ± 0.5°C for optimal reaction conditions.

The intelligent operation software provides a user-friendly color touchscreen interface, real-time test monitoring, intelligent alarms, test summary management, pre- and post-dilution functions, and step-by-step smart maintenance guidance. Built-in Westgard rules and Levey–Jennings charts support both internal and external quality control.

With bidirectional LIS connectivity via TCP/IP and COM, multilingual software support, barcode-based sample identification, and automatic data management, MAGLUMI® 800 ensures seamless integration into laboratory information systems.
