The Mindray BC-5000 Auto Hematology Analyzer is a compact yet powerful 5-part differential system specially designed for laboratories that require full CBC with 5-part WBC differentiation, while working with low daily sample volumes, limited lab space, and controlled budgets. As one of Mindray’s most compact 5-part analyzers, BC-5000 delivers high diagnostic confidence with exceptional efficiency and affordability.

Unlike 3-part analyzers, the BC-5000 provides true 5-part WBC differentiation—Lymphocytes, Monocytes, Neutrophils, Eosinophils, and Basophils—with detailed and clinically specific flagging that enables better interpretation of abnormal samples such as eosinophilia and monocytosis. This greatly reduces manual smear review and increases laboratory productivity.

The system utilizes advanced Tri-Angle Laser Scatter + Chemical Dye + Flow Cytometry technology for highly accurate WBC differentiation. It also features a dedicated optical basophil counting channel, ensuring precise basophil measurement even in complex samples. For RBC and platelet analysis, BC-5000 uses improved DC impedance technology with a smaller 50 μm counting aperture, delivering better performance in low platelet samples.

BC-5000 reports 23 hematology parameters, along with 3 histograms (WBC, RBC, PLT) and 3 scattergrams for WBC differentiation, providing comprehensive diagnostic information. The analyzer supports whole blood, capillary whole blood, and pre-diluted modes, with a very low sample volume of just 15 μL, making it highly suitable for pediatric and geriatric testing.

With a throughput of 40 samples per hour and a large 10.4-inch TFT touchscreen, BC-5000 offers smooth daily operation without the need for an external PC. It inherits the user-friendly and powerful Mindray software platform, ensuring intuitive navigation and fast result review. The system also supports USB and LAN connectivity with HL7-compatible LIS integration for seamless data transmission.
